Body Matching Ex-WWE Star Shad Gaspard Has Been Found at Venice Beach
Shad Gaspard has passed away at the young age of 39.
Authorities confirmed that they have found the body of the WWE star just days after Shad’s wife Siliana Gaspard reported him missing. The LAFD confirmed to E! News that Gaspard’s remains wre found around 1:45 a.m. on May 20th. He was last seen at Marina Del Rey Beach on Sunday.
Gaspard had been swimming with his 10- year old son, who was also reported missing. His son was later found safe and did not require medical treatment. During the attempt to save both parties, the U.S. Coast Guard shared that they ‘lost contact of the father’ while in the process of saving his son.
His family yet remained hopeful during the search, releasing a statement hoping for his safe return.
“We would like to express our gratitude to the first responders who rescued Aryeh and to the lifeguards, coast guard, divers, fire and police departments for their continued efforts to help find our beloved Shad,” the Gaspard Family shared.
“Shad is a fighter, a warrior and a magical soul. We are hoping and praying for his safe return,” the statement continued. “As a family we thank you for your concern and well wishes. Please continue to keep sending your positivity and prayers to our beloved Shad.”
Gaspard was a member of the WWE family until 2010. He then pursued an acting career and made several appearances in films such as ‘Think Like a Man Too’, ‘Get Hard’ and television series ‘The Game.’ He was also the co-creator of the graphic novel Assassin & Son.
Our thoughts and prayers with his family.
