5 Million People Tried to Buy the Dior x Air Jordans
If you didn’t secure the Dior x Air Jordan 1’s last week, don’t feel bad. You literally had to be one in a million to win the raffle. To be exact, over five million people entered according to Christian Dior Couture CEO, Pietro Becarri.
The Dior x Air Jordan 1 collection debuted during the French Fashion House’s Fall 2020 show in December 2019, but we didn’t get a closer look at the details of the shoe until last week when the sneakerheads got a sneak peak last week and had the opportunity to order on a first come first served basis. The shoe was highly anticipated after being delayed due to the Coronavirus.
The is one of the most high-end collabs of the Nike Brand to date with the high top retail value being $2,200 and the low top being $2000. Re-sellers on StockX are starting the price at over $10,000.
The collection also includes ready-to-wear accessories that will be made available on July 8th in select Dior stores.
